Freddie Anderson was born and raised
in the old mining town of Ely, Nevada. The son of a mining man and a
rancher's daughter, his music is filled with the color and flavor of the
"high desert".
As
a youngster, Freddie often traveled with his father on mining business,
where he came into contact with a great assortment of colorful western
characters: miners, cowboys, gamblers, and others.
After
finishing high school in Ely, Freddie worked as a section hand on the
local mine railroad until the mine closed down. It was a turning point
in his life, and now it was time to take his musical talent on the road,
as a professional musician and entertainer.
Over
the course of his career, Freddie has performed for audiences from the
oilfields of Alaska, across the United States to Florida. In his
travels, he has always carried his experiences, memories, and -- most
importantly - his pen.
A
seasoned musician, singer, and songwriter, Freddie shares his life in
his music. His first CD is complete and available for purchase!
